Gift Card Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to your purchase, use and ownership of a Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card. Your purchase and/or use of a Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card signifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
You must therefore read these terms and conditions carefully. If you wish to print a copy, please do so. We may change these terms and conditions from time to time.

1. The Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card
The Cornish Fish & Chips Gift card enables its owner to pay in full or in part for Cornish Fish & Chips products and services at certain venues. It is available in electronic or hard- copy format, and as well as making purchases you can check your balance at any time.
2. Owner of the Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card programme
Cornish Fish & Chips Ltd is responsible for the Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card. We are registered in England and Wales, with company number 12855592. Our registered office is at 78 Godolphin Road, Helston, TR13 8QL. In these terms and conditions, we refer to this business as “we” and by related words.
The Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card is managed through our card partner, Toggle.
3. Buying a Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card
The Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card is available from our website(s), which you can reach at Harbour Lights and Fraser's Fish & Chips
It is available in electronic format as a code that can be used to make purchases, or you can choose to receive a physical card that can be used. You can buy a Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card for yourself, or you can buy one as a present for someone else. All references to the Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card in these terms and conditions are to both formats, unless we specify otherwise.
You must be 18 or over to buy a Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card.
4. Charging your Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card
The Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card is charged once, when you purchase it. You cannot top it up at a later date.
The minimum value you can place on a Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card is £10, and the maximum is £1000. You can spend any amount you like each time (1p minimum), provided that there is enough credit on your card.
5. Using your Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card
You can use your Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card to pay in full or in part for items in any Fraser’s Fish & Chips or Harbour Lights locations.
How you use it
Whenever you order food or drinks in a restaurant using our digital ordering facility, you enter the code for your Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card. If you prefer to order directly with a member of staff (and this is not restricted by our guidelines – for example, in relation to COVID-19), the member of staff can do this for you.
6. Checking your balance
You can check your balance at any time here.
7. Refunds
If you are permitted by law to receive a refund, and you paid using your Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card, the refund will be loaded back on to your Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card.
8. No exchange for cash
Funds loaded on to a Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card cannot be exchanged for cash or equivalent. They must be used to purchase Cornish Fish & Chips products and services in restaurants.
9. Keeping your card safe
You should keep your Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card safe and not divulge the code to anyone. If you lose your Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card, or if it is stolen or otherwise used, let us know at hello@cornishfishandchips.co.uk.
If you have registered your Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card, we can give you a replacement card in cases of loss or theft, but any funds spent by an unauthorised person cannot be recovered. You should, therefore, treat the card as you would treat money in your wallet.
Similarly, as is the case with most gift cards, the Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme – therefore, any funds lost are not insured or compensated.
10. Lifespan of the card
Your Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card will automatically come to an end twelve months after purchase. At this point, any funds on it will be lost.
11. Your data
In purchasing and using your Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card, we will collect, store and process personal data in relation to you.
We value your personal data. We would never give it to a third party so that the third party can market to you for its own purposes.
12. Our liability
We will not be liable to you for the non-availability or non-functioning of the card, except if we are negligent and where the law prevents us from limiting our liability. In general, however, we will try to resolve any issues that arise.
13. Changes to these terms and conditions
We may make updates to the Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card from time to time.
We may also change these terms and conditions from time to time. Any such changes will appear on this page and will be binding on you from the next time you use the Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card.
14. Governing law
These terms and conditions, together with our privacy notice, set out the full agreement between us in relation to the Cornish Fish & Chips Gift Card. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and by the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
